The Zillow Rich Media (RMX) team is transforming how people experience virtual home tours by building immersive, next-generation features that leverage mobile devices, machine learning, and computer vision. We collaborate across product, research, and engineeringto develop innovative ways to capture, process, and present rich media, turning real-world signals into structured, interactive representations of homes within Zillow's products.
As a Senior Applied Scientist, you will tackle complex, real-world challenges that directly shape Zillow's virtual touring experiences. You'll have a broad impact by defining and solving ambiguous problems, developing innovative models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver features that enhance how users explore homes. Your work will drive the next wave of immersive, user-centric experiences at Zillow.
This role has been categorized as a Remote position. "Remote" employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.
In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. Employees in this role will not be paid below the salary threshold for exempt employees in the state where they reside.
