About the Role

Regional Director Of Supply Chain

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to oversee Supply Chain operations across a multi-state, multi-facility nonprofit healthcare system. The Regional Director of Supply Chain will provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure cost-effective, compliant, and efficient supply chain processes that support high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional communicator, a proven change agent, and a collaborative partner with both clinical and administrative teams.

This is a 100% remote position. Travel level is estimated to be 1 week every two months. Travel level is subject to change based on organizational needs.

The pay range for this position is $135,580 - $203,370 annually. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity.

Responsibilities
  • Provide system-level leadership and direction for all Supply Chain operations within assigned markets, including procedural areas, PAR and perpetual inventory management, requisitioning, receiving, bill-only processes, and vendor management.
  • Leverage and oversee relevant technology and software applications to enhance supply chain visibility, efficiency, and decision-making across facilities.
  • Plan, organize, and direct the capital budgeting process for the market, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and financial stewardship.
  • Maintain fiscal responsibility for all market Supply Chain Management departments, including monitoring budgets, controlling costs, and achieving operational targets.
  • Support system-wide strategic sourcing initiatives for supplies and purchased services. Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical leaders to optimize product utilization and support standardization efforts.
  • Lead and support enterprise-wide initiatives focused on product standardization, process improvement, and cost savings — including coordination of Value Analysis activities.
  • Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures that align with corporate directives and regulatory standards to ensure efficient, ethical, and compliant procurement practices.
  • Achieve broad stakeholder engagement by participating in cross-functional teams, promoting transparent communication, and sharing best practices that drive operational excellence.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop staff members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, ethical conduct, and professional growth.
  • Establish measurable performance goals for departments and teams, and implement actionable plans to achieve them.

This is not an all-inclusive list of this job's responsibilities. The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5 years of management or supervisory experience in supply chain or purchasing
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management or related field - or in lieu of degree, 10 years of progressive Supply Chain Management experience may be substituted

Preferred:

  • Experience within a multi-facility healthcare organization
  • 2 years of experience working within a healthcare ERP system (Workday, Infor/Lawson, or equivalent)
  • Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP)
