About the Role

Job Title

What You Will Do
  • Identify constraints to flow that will be used to develop improvement and mitigation plans for improved on time delivery from suppliers.
  • Acquire a vision of the big picture and understand that enhancing operational effectiveness is key to organizational business performance.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the products and the operational processes they go through at the suppliers you are assigned.
  • Ability to generate and gain opportunities to break functional, operational and logistical barriers faced with getting products out the door.
  • Effectively driving tasks/projects to completion which include but are not limited to: Leading Indicator data collection and gap review, material coverage and tracking, facilitating quality notification communication and closures and sub-tier management assistance.
  • Manage multiple projects and interact with several departments and various levels of management simultaneously.
  • Will be an active participant in Commodity Days, Executive Management Meetings and Co-lead with our customers and Supplier Development Leaders on the respective Supplier Business Reviews and Rate Readiness Reviews.
  • Role will require candidate to be onsite at various Pratt and Whitney manufacturing suppliers in the San Diego County, CA area for 80% of their time
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related degree and 5 years of experience in supply chain, business or relevant experience; OR an advanced degree and three years of relevant experience; OR in lieu of a degree 9 years of experience in supply chain, business or other relevant experience can be considered.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems or sites.
  • Must be able to travel up to 80% of your time to the San Diego County, CA area
  • Must be able to work 20% of the time from home office in San Diego County, CA area

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD.The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
