Job Overview - Senior Finance Associate (Remote) Compensation: $130,000 - $150,000/year + bonus Location: New York, NY (Remote with Optional Hybrid) Atlantic Group is hiring a Senior Finance Associate in New York, NY for our client, supporting corporate accounting, partnership tax reporting, and financial planning within a financial services environment. This role is fully remote with an optional hybrid schedule in New York City, focusing on financial reporting, tax compliance, and deferred compensation. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced Excel and financial systems to manage reporting, forecasting, and partnership allocations while partnering with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities as the Senior Finance Associate (Remote): - Financial Close & Reporting: Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and prepare management reporting.
- FP&A Support: Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Tax Compliance: Oversee partnership tax reporting, including allocations, K-1 review, and coordination with advisors.
- Audit Coordination: Support financial statement preparation and coordinate with external auditors.
- Compensation & Controls: Manage deferred compensation programs and maintain internal controls and compliance.
Qualifications for the Senior Finance Associate (Remote): - Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required (CPA strongly preferred).
- Experience: 5-10 years of accounting experience, including public accounting and corporate finance exposure, is required.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience with partnership taxation, income allocations, and financial services environments is required.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial reporting systems is required.
- Skills & Attributes: Demonstrates strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
