Lead Infant Teacher – Early Childhood Classroom

The Learning Experience – Manassas City is seeking a caring Lead Infant Teacher to guide daily routines in our infant classroom. This role focuses on creating a nurturing environment where infants develop secure relationships and earlycommunication skills through consistent care and sensory exploration.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading daily routines for infants ages 6 weeks to 12 months
• Providing attentive care including feeding, diapering, and nap supervision
• Implementing age-appropriate sensory learning activities
• Maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment
• Supporting assistant teachers and maintaining classroom consistency
• Communicating regularly with families regarding routines and milestones
• Following Virginia licensing requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required
• Prior childcare experience required
• Experience working in an infant classroom preferred
• Must meet Virginia childcare licensing requirements

Compensation: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
