About the Role

Contract Sales Executive Opportunity

Manufacturing is a $50T industry, but it's also the planet's largest industrial energy consumer and polluter. This is driven by process inefficiencies and defects, which create staggering amounts of waste, emit excess greenhouse gases, and cost manufacturers millions in scrapped materials and lost production time.

We are tackling this waste within the $9B manual assembly manufacturing sector. Our solution is an AI copilot for supervisors and continuous improvement engineers, powered by next-generation vision-language models. It analyzes assembly processes in real-time to ensure procedures meet quality standards, guides operators with instant feedback to boost first-pass yield, and generates 24/7 lean insights to eliminate bottlenecks.

We are now onboarding a small number of pilot customers and are looking for a contract sales executive who can unlock warm introductions into manufacturing organizations and help convert those intros into paid pilots.

This is not an employment opportunity at Diagram, but an opportunity in a new company created through our venture studio model.

Who You Are
  • Proven sales operator with strong experience selling technology in manufacturing
  • Comfortable opening doors at mid-market and enterprise manufacturers within the automotive, electronics, aerospace and medical device industries
  • Strong network in manufacturing, capable of making warm introductions to qualified manufacturing leaders
  • Ready to support early conversations as needed to move pilots toward agreement
What You'll Get
  • An hourly advisory fee during the early stages of the venture
  • Commission for every signed pilot partnership
  • Upside to expand the role or join full-time as the venture scales
