The Strategic Partner Manager develops, maintains, and expands relationships with named strategic partners. A set of several partners will be assigned with specific sales and lead generation targets.
The Director of Strategic Partners reports to the Vice President of Sales.
- Responsible for all aspects of our client's Partner business including Referral, Reseller, and OEM relationships
- Directly manage the team of Strategic Partner Managers, including hiring new team members
- Lead the team in Identifying, recruiting, and onboard new partners with mutually rewarding goals and objectives
- Manage the Strategic Partner team using data as the basis for decision making
- Hold weekly one-on-one meetings as well as running a weekly Partner Manager team meeting
- Coach each Partner Manager in developing and executing partner specific strategies, tactics and business plans
- Ensure each Partner Manager develops specific goals for each Partner and executes to attain those goals
- Own the Partner Manager Playbook that defines the best practices and procedures
- Assist Partner Managers, as needed, in developing relationships with Partners (e.g., attending QBRs when needed)
- Work with Partner Operations Manager to create and maintain Partner Manager and Partner Team level reporting to track goals
- $20 mil partnership business
- ½ leads generated from this group
- Build new resources of revenue

Performance Based Objectives You will measure, diagnose, and improve the partner portfolio by using tools which track the progress of your partner performance to goal on a daily, weekly, 28 day, 91 day, and 365 day basis against both activity and revenue objectives
- In your first 30 days, you will complete our partner onboarding, learn how we go to market, understand our products and existing partner models
- In your first 30 days you will have developed a business plan for your team including strategies and tactics to achieve your partner bookings goals
- Within your first 90 days, you will be meeting the goals set forth in your business plan, working on developing and honing your partner management team's skills as well as training internally to become Company Qualified
- Within your first 90 days, you will have developed a solid understanding of the partner portfolio, will have identified and created relationships with key employees at each partner and will present a report to the partner team on what is working well, key challenges and recommended adjustments to the business plan going forward
Location: This position can be based anywhere in the US or in the UK (15-20% Travel Required)
