About the Role

Manager of Capital Markets

CORY is partnering with a rapidly growing private real estate investment and development firm focused on reshaping multifamily communities across Ohio. As the Manager of Capital Markets, you'll lead the firm's equity-raising strategy and oversee the full investor lifecycle—from sourcing and qualifying investors to managing capital deployment and institutional-level reporting.

About Our Client: Our client acquires, repositions, and operates multifamily assets that generate strong financial returns while delivering meaningful community impact. They are entrepreneurial, results-driven, and committed to excellence across every phase of development and operations.

Your Responsibilities as a Leader:

  • Identify, prospect, and secure equity investors for current and upcoming multifamily development projects.
  • Cultivate and maintain durable relationships with a network encompassing high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and smaller institutions.
  • Create compelling investor materials, including presentations and reports, that effectively communicate performance metrics and the company's long-term vision.
  • Oversee CRM systems and capital pipelines to maintain accurate data, accountability, and fundraising momentum.
  • Work closely with the Principal to ensure capital-raising efforts align with the firm's overall development objectives.
  • Track progress of capital raises, deliver weekly updates, and ensure all investor communication is timely and professional.
  • Gather insights on market trends and investor preferences to inform and refine future fundraising strategies.

The Skills & Experience You Possess:

  • Successful track record securing investment for multifamily or commercial real estate ventures.
  • Possesses a robust network of current investors and demonstrated aptitude for forging new relationships.
  • Outstanding ability to communicate and articulate, transforming complex financial information into persuasive presentations.
  • Highly structured and detail-oriented, proficient in utilizing CRM platforms and generating reports.
  • Excels in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments where self-motivation and ownership are key performance drivers.
  • A degree in Finance, Real Estate, or Business is strongly preferred.
