Job Description

Director Of Nursing Needed In Minnesota

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead and oversee nursing operations at our healthcare facility in Minnesota. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. This role is responsible for managing nursing staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and maintaining excellent standards of resident/patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily nursing department operations and clinical services
  • Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
  • Coordinate patient care plans with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
  • Monitor quality assurance and patient safety initiatives
  • Manage staffing schedules, training, and performance evaluations
  • Maintain accurate medical and administrative records
Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Minnesota
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of long-term care, skilled nursing, or healthcare facility operations
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • CPR/BLS Certification preferred
