About the Role

Job Title: Electrical Assembler

Job Description

This role offers the opportunity to build and wire electrical systems used in advanced ground support equipment for the aviation industry. The Electrical Assembler will perform precise electrical assembly work, interpret schematics and technical drawings, and ensure all products meet strict quality standards. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in detailed, hands-on work and enjoys contributing to high-quality manufacturing in a clean, climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and wire electrical components, panels, and harnesses based on electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.

  • Perform detailed assembly tasks such as crimping, routing wires, and assembling cable harnesses with a high level of precision.

  • Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment to complete assemblies and verify proper function.

  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications.

  • Identify assembly issues, troubleshoot problems, and collaborate with engineering or leadership to resolve them.

  • Maintain accurate production documentation, including labeling, records, and any required forms or logs.

  • Follow all safety procedures, guidelines, and best practices while contributing to a clean, organized, and safe workspace.

  • Work closely with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.

  • Stand for extended periods and safely lift materials or components up to 50 lbs as needed during the assembly process.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.

  • Hands-on experience with basic tools and electrical assembly processes.

  • Working knowledge of wiring techniques, crimping, soldering, and electrical components.

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in electrical assembly within a manufacturing or industrial setting.

  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing or 5S practices.

  • Ability to work independently after training.

  • Previous experience in mechanical or electrical assembly is beneficial.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Palmetto, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
