Hardware Engineer
An Amazing Career Opportunity for a Hardware Engineer!! Location: Vancouver, Canada. Primary responsibilities include involvement in hardware development of embedded products in various stages, from electrical design to manufacturing stage. Duties will also include involvement in development of embedded software for the same range of products.

As our Hardware Engineer, you'll support HID's success by:
- Analyzing embedded device performance in terms of power consumption, RF efficiency, robustness, and related metrics.
- Participating in the design and development of new hardware products, including electrical design, PCB design, and RF design aspects.
- Developing firmware, including low-level drivers, board support packages (BSPs), and potentially higher-level device functionality.
- Supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including preparing manufacturing documentation and qualifying manufacturing processes and tools.
- Preparing test samples and supporting activities required for regulatory certifications.
Your Experience and Background include:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- 1 - 3 years experience as an electrical engineer in embedded product development
- 1 to 3 years of electrical design experience preferably for wireless, very low power RF products
- Some experience in firmware development of low level drivers (I2C, SPI, BLE stack control through library calls)
- Experience with preparation of product and documentation for regulatory certifications, focusing on RF and EMC testing
