About the Role

As an Experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in maintaining and ensuring the smooth operation of our organization's physical facilities. Your expertise in maintenance tasks and technical knowledge will help keep our facilities safe, efficient, and compliant with regulations.

You will report directly to our Facilities Maintenance Manager and you'll work out of our Urbana, OH location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the reliability and functionality of manufacturing equipment and building systems by providing hands-on maintenance support and technical expertise. Your work will directly contribute to the operational success and safety of our facilities.


Responsibilities
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on facility equipment and systems to ensure optimal operation and reduce downtime.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues within the facility promptly and efficiently.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to support facility upgrades, repairs, and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in facilities maintenance engineering or technical maintenance roles.
• Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair.
• Experience working with maintenance tools and technologies relevant to facility upkeep and repair.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to perform maintenance tasks accurately.

WE VALUE
• Associate degree or technical certification in Facilities Maintenance, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance standards applicable to facility maintenance.
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus.
