Online Adjunct - School Of Education

Aspen University is looking for experienced Online Adjunct Faculty to join the School of Education.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Asynchronous teaching in a virtual environment with a diverse student population
Engage students in meaningful asynchronous threaded discussions at least four days per week, evaluating responses and responding to questions or comments
Evaluate students' course content comprehension through grading of assignments, quizzes, papers, or presentations
Bring your real-life experiences into the classroom through announcements, feedback, discussion responses, and grading
Empower students to learn and grow through evidence-based feedback and guidance
Set clear expectations and guidelines for each course in accordance with university policies
Utilize effective professional communication in providing clear directions, feedback, and promoting student learning
Attend virtual faculty meetings when you are able or watch recordings to stay current on policies
Be available to students by answering emails within 24 hours
Education
Master's or Doctorate degree from accredited institution depending on program requirements
Credentials/Certifications
Specific credentials/certifications may be required depending on program requirements
Adjunct Compensation
Course contracts are paid semi-monthly and range from $150 - $3,500 depending on instruction level and student count
