About the Role

We would like you to serve as a Technical Lead within Power Electronics Department! We would like you to be responsible for crafting, testing, and maintaining the power electronics products and systems for our companies chiller applications.

This position is a Hybrid position located in our state of art design facility in New Freedom, PA. This facility is located 30 miles from the Baltimore area!

  • Resolves the best techniques, procedures and/or theories as they apply to the development of power electronics products and systems.
  • Crafts compliance procedures for the development of electrical/electronic circuitry designs.
  • Defines and interprets design specifications; crafts electrical/electronic circuitry to meet specified requirements; and analyzes product design requirements and recommends solutions.
  • Prepares and coordinates the release of documentation to support component design and manufacturing.
  • Participates in all aspects of preliminary design and systems architecture and conducts analysis of the cost impacts of proposed modifications, upgrades, and new architectures of application software.
  • Conducts feasibility studies and systems analysis for new applications or major modifications of existing systems.
  • Works with other specialists, designers, and technicians on specific work assignments.
  • Forecasts and schedules work activities and defines processes for repetitive tasks.
  • Acts as the technical lead for solving field and factory issues on the range of power electronics products and systems on companies chillers.
  • Travels to visit customers, companies factories, vendors, and/or professional conferences as business needs

What we look for:

Required
  • Master's degree on Electrical Engineering with specialization on Power Electronics
  • Minimum 8 years of validated experience in the field of Power Electronics.
  • Applicants for employment in the US must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and our company.
Preferred
  • Power electronics systems
  • Power electronics controls
  • Sophisticated tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, OPAL-RT, Saber.
  • PCBAs design
  • FPGA and DSP
