About the Role
Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Principal Statistician, Biostatistics to provide strategic statistical leadership for clinical development programs and client engagements.
In this role, you will lead the statistical planning and analysis of multiple clinical studies, while serving as a trusted advisor to both clients and internal teams. The successful candidate will bring deep industry expertise, technical excellence, and strong leadership skills to drive successful project outcomes. Key responsibilities include:
Lead and perform statistical planning and analysis for multiple clinical studies
Provide high-level statistical consulting to clients
Direct and mentor statisticians and statistical programmers
Collaborate with senior client executives and stakeholders
Present statistics-based insights and recommendations
Contribute to industry thought leadership through publications and conference presentations
Desirable Skills and Experience
Doctoral degree in statistics (required)
15+ years of pharmaceutical or CRO experience
10+ years of technical project management experience leading statisticians and statistical programmers
Strong knowledge of CDISC, SDTM, and ADaM standards
Excellent SAS programming skills, including datasets and TFLs
Proven experience developing, writing, publishing, and presenting industry papers at conferences
Exceptional leadership, communication, organizational, and client-facing skills
Recognized industry authority among clients and peers
Experience in neurodegenerative disease is preferred, but not required
