About the Role

Amazon + Walmart Marketplace Manager (Organic Listings, Paid Oversight, Best-Practice Consulting) (Remote)

Client is preparing to expand its Marketplace offering and is looking for a Marketplace Manager with deep experience across Amazon and Walmart. This role focuses on optimizing product visibility, managing paid campaign performance at a strategic level, and advising clients on marketplace best practices.

This is not a fulfillment or logistics role. The focus is performance, discoverability, and revenue growth inside marketplace ecosystems. You'll help the client shape how this service is delivered before it formally launches.

What You'll Own

  • Organic Listing Management
  • Product listing creation, optimization, and ongoing maintenance
  • Keyword research, title structure, bullet optimization, and backend search terms
  • Image and content guidance in collaboration with creative teams
  • A+ Content strategy and recommendations
  • Listing audits and performance diagnostics
  • Paid Marketplace Oversight
  • Strategic oversight of Amazon and Walmart paid campaigns
  • Campaign structure recommendations and optimization guidance
  • Performance analysis and reporting
  • Collaboration with media buyers when execution support is needed
  • Clear insights on scaling vs. efficiency
  • Marketplace Strategy & Consulting
  • Best-practice recommendations for Amazon and Walmart ecosystems
  • Client guidance on platform policies, ranking factors, and growth levers
  • Audits of existing marketplace setups and roadmaps for improvement
  • Client-facing strategy discussions when needed
  • Internal documentation and process building as the service matures

What the Client Needs From You

  • Proven experience managing Amazon and/or Walmart marketplaces
  • Strong understanding of organic ranking factors and paid media mechanics
  • Experience auditing and improving existing marketplace accounts
  • Comfortable being client-facing and advisory when required
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Clear communicator who can explain complex marketplace decisions simply

What This Role Is Not

  • No fulfillment management
  • No inventory forecasting
  • No logistics or shipping coordination
  • No customer service operations

This role is about performance and platform mastery.

Many Client clients already sell on Amazon or Walmart. This role allows the client to expand services without overextending into fulfillment or operations. You'll help define a scalable, high-margin offering rooted in expertise, not busywork.
