About the Role

Financial Analyst, Retail & Sales Finance

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end forecast process for both Retail and Sales management financials, including consolidation of historical revenue and costs, in-depth analytics on key performance indicators, and performance updates to key executives and the broader organization.
  • Lead the Annual Financial Planning process in support of long-term strategic priorities across both the Retail and Sales organizations.
  • Partner with Retail and Sales leadership teams on ad hoc projects to drive current and future business goals and trends.
  • Complete ad hoc financial analysis and miscellaneous projects in support of actuals and forecast processes and overall Retail and Sales business initiatives.
  • Lead continued innovation across all aspects of the role through cross-team collaboration, utilizing financial tools and data to enhance the quality and impact of insights.
  • Provide critical thought leadership in the development and maintenance of financial systems and reporting tools.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant Finance experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other quantitative field

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in Financial Planning and Analysis in a high-performance and fast-growing organization.
  • Big picture thinking with inherent curiosity to connect dots, understand all facets of Apple's distinct Retail and Sales organizations, and drive decision making.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with flawless attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate results and increase alignment between separate business units.
  • Ability to partner cross-functionally at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven experience developing and improving processes, with a desire to drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong prioritization skills with the ability to independently manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and quickly changing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and modeling skills. Shown ability to distill complex decisions into simple but comprehensive financial models.
  • Experience with presentation software (Keynote preferred), enterprise finance systems (Adaptive Insights preferred, SAP, Blackline), and data analytics tools (Excel, Tableau, etc.) required; SQL knowledge a plus.
  • CPA

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.The base pay range for this role is between $110,500 and $166,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.

Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses — including tuition.Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments as well as relocation.
