Cytiva's Field Service Engineer is responsible for several activities such as installation and qualification, preventative maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repairs, as well as promoting service contracts and identifying opportunities that have a significant impact on the organization.

This position is part of the Biotechnology Integrated Solutions – Equipment Services team based in Italy (preferably in the Lazio/Rome region) and will be fully remote. At Cytiva, our vision is to advance future therapies from discovery to delivery.

As part of your duties, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Represent the company to our clients
  • Plan and execute service activities at the customer's site
  • Manage own stock and work orders
  • Participate in sales opportunities and assist with promoting and implementing revenue programs.

The essential requirements of the position are as follows:

  • Education: Majored in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer, Electronic or Automation or equivalent field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • Technical skills: Very good mechanical and electrical skills, experience troubleshooting
  • English is required
  • Ability to travel: 70 % travel and overnight stay within territory

It would be a plus if you also had previous experience in the following areas:

  • Biopharma or Biotechnologies Industry
  • Computers (Windows OS, PC, server), networks and database
