Soliant is seeking a seasoned, dedicated Paraprofessional with direct experience in a school district setting to support lead teachers and students.The ideal candidate is proactive, experienced in classroom management, and able to work independently or in small groups with minimal supervision.
Location: Chicago Metro Area, Illinois (IL) Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Provide 1:1 or small group instructional reinforcement, specifically in reading, math, or special education settings, as designed by the lead teacher. • Implement behavioral intervention plans and manage classroom behavior, supporting positive social-emotional growth. • Assist with the collection of student performance data, tracking progress for IEP or 504 plans. • Prepare, modify, and organize classroom materials to support differentiated instruction. • Supervise students during non-instructional times, including lunch, recess, and arrival/dismissal. • Maintain professional communication with staff, parents, and administrators regarding student progress.
Required Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Paraprofessional, Instructional Aide, or similar role within a public or private school district.Education: High school diploma required; Associate's degree or 60+ college credits preferred.Background Check: Ability to pass mandatory fingerprinting and background check.References: Three professional references, with at least two from current or former school administrators, principals, or direct supervisors.
