People Business Partner
Location: On-site with regular regional travel (10%), Portland Metro Area
Compensation: $90,000-$100,000
About the Opportunity
Join a growing, mission-focused organization as a People Business Partner supporting multiple locations across a regional footprint. This role serves as a trusted HR advisor to business leaders, helping drive employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, compliance, and workforce planning.
Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with leaders on employee relations, performance management, investigations, accommodations, and leave administration
  • Provide coaching and guidance on HR policies, employment law, and people-related challenges
  • Conduct workplace investigations and recommend appropriate actions
  • Support workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations
  • Collaborate with operational leaders and on-site administrative teams
  • Travel regularly to support assigned locations
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience with significant HR Business Partner responsibilities
  • Strong background in employee relations, investigations, performance management, accommodations, and leave administration
  • Experience advising and influencing leaders in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR compliance
  • Experience supporting large, frontline employee populations
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly
Preferred Qualifications
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification
  • Experience in healthcare, hospitality, retail, manufacturing, senior living, or other high-volume workforce environments
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience supporting multi-site or geographically dispersed operations
