About the Role

Human Resources Generalist
Location & Schedule
Portland Metro Area & 100% onsite, Monday-Friday, standard business hours with some scheduling flexibility
Compensation & Benefits
$70,000-$90,000 annually (DOE), Medical, dental, and vision insurance, Annual bonus opportunity
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a primary HR contact for employee and manager questions.
  • Support recruiting, including job postings, interview scheduling, candidate communication, offers, and background checks.
  • Coordinate onboarding and new hire processes.
  • Administer employee benefits and leave of absence programs.
  • Maintain HRIS records, employee files, and compliance documentation.
  • Process employee changes, including promotions, transfers, and terminations.
  • Track required training and maintain I-9 documentation.
  • Support employee relations activities and HR projects.
  • Manage HR records, forms, and operational processes.
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of broad HR experience.
  • HR Generalist background with exposure to multiple HR functions.
  • Recruiting, benefits, and leave administration experience.
  • HR compliance and recordkeeping knowledge.
  • Experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and follow-through.
Preferred
  • Multi-location or multi-state HR experience.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar certification.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Confident communicator who can work effectively with professionals at all levels.
