About the Role

A growing organization in the transportation and supply chain industry is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to support daily transportation operations and customer service activities in Dublin, OH. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment where you will coordinate shipments, communicate with carriers and customers, and help ensure timely and cost-effective transportation solutions.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and execute transportation plans for inbound, outbound, and intercompany shipments across multiple markets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with transportation providers while supporting capacity and load coverage needs
  • Monitor transportation activity, track shipments, and proactively address potential service disruptions to ensure on-time delivery performance
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders regarding shipment status, scheduling, and operational updates
  • Manage transportation-related documentation, system updates, and recordkeeping to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Collaborate with customer service, operations, and accounting teams to resolve shipment issues, support freight payment inquiries, and identify process improvements
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience working within supply chain, transportation, or freight-related operations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Able to effectively use multiple screens and systems
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment

Pay Details: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour
