About the Role

We're seeking a Maintenance Specialist who's ready to put your skills to work on projects that matter - and build a career with a company that's building North America.

Job Title: Maintenance Specialist | Req ID: 16392 | HR Contact: Kyle Jon KEMPEN| Location: Geocycle Dorchester Plant SC

ABOUT THE ROLE

Performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance tasks, including inspections, preventative maintenance, repairs on building systems, equipment and facilities. Assist in Identifying the root cause of equipment malfunctions and determining necessary repairs.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
  • Interact with all crew for equipment conditions and or process concerns.
  • Utilize SAP for part lookups, work order creation and equipment BOM viewing.
  • Maintenance crew expertise support and training.
  • Troubleshoot issues, prioritize repairs and respond to emergencies depending on the specific role and setting.
  • Direct Involvement in root cause of equipment malfunctions and determining necessary repairs.
  • Order necessary parts and supplies for repairs.
  • Assist as a contractor coordinator as needed.
  • Blueprint and schematic reading.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
  • Other duties as assigned.


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Education: High school diploma or equivalent or 10 years of equivalent heavy industrial manufacturing experience.
Required Work Experience: 10 years of heavy industrial maintenance experience, cement plant experience preferred.
Required Computer and Software Skills: SAP experience preferred.

Additional Requirements:
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
