The Manufacturing Engineer will lead the development and implementation of procedures, tooling, and equipment that will streamline production, with the goal of manufacturing the best products that will meet all specifications and quality standards, while cutting cost and increase efficiencies.
Responsibilities - Create and maintain work instructions and manufacturing specifications
- Identify and recommend methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities
- Identify and implement changes to improve products and reduce costs using knowledge of fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment, assembly methods, product design, materials, and parts.
- Determine root cause of failures using statistical methods, and recommend changes in designs, tolerances, or processing methods.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to facilitate production process and evaluate potential changes
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred or equivalent experience
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban and 5S preferred
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Salary Range: $65,000-$80,000
