About the Role

Assemble, inspect, and deliver quality mechanical solutions.

Mechanical Assembler is required to work with Hilti installation products and modular support solutions. This position will work closely with other assemblers to connect components and construct ISB systems. Must be able to read blueprints, know how to use a variety of hand and power tools, measuring devices i.e., measuring tape/calipers, and able to stand for extended periods. The role includes a wide variety of tasks in support of a manufacturing/production environment.

What You'll do
  • 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM shift with shift differential pay.
Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
  • Read and decipher schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
  • Position or align components and parts, either manually or with hoists.
  • Use hand tools or machines to assemble parts.
  • Conduct quality control checks; test and inspect components for uniformity and quality.
  • Clean and maintain work area and equipment, including tools.
  • Prepare work to be accomplished by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
  • Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
  • Verify specifications by measuring complete components.
  • Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications, notifying supervisors to obtain additional resources.
  • Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintain inventory by checking stock to determine supply levels, placing and tracking orders, and verifying receipt of supplies.
  • Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
  • Document actions by completing production and quality forms; log productivity.
  • Other duties as needed or assigned.
What You'll Bring
  • High School diploma/GED, required.
  • Three to five (3-5) years of manufacturing or assembly line experience required.
  • Mechanical and technical skills; experience with modular support systems for pipes, ventilation, sprinkler, electrical and seismic applications, preferred.
  • Focus on quality control and attention to detail.
  • Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate and assemble parts and components that are often small.
  • Creativity and energy; ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Unsurpassed focus to satisfy every customer's order daily.
  • Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
