LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a healthcare client in Carmel, IN to hire a detail-oriented and patient-focused
Medical Assistant / Scheduler. This is a
contract-to-hire opportunity with a stable, growing organization that values accuracy, professionalism, and strong patient communication.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule new and returning patient appointments with accuracy and efficiency
- Enter and maintain patient demographic and insurance information in the system
- Verify insurance details and ensure documentation is complete prior to appointments
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with patients via phone and in person
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth daily operations and scheduling flow
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations
Qualifications- Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office (must be with the same organization)
- Prior experience with medical scheduling and patient registration required
- Strong data entry and computer skills; experience with EMR systems preferred
- Knowledge of insurance verification and patient intake processes
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Pay Details: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour
