Portfolio Accountant or Senior Portfolio Accountant to join its growing accounting team. This position offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of retail, office, multifamily, hospitality, restaurant, and mixed-use properties, along with strong long-term growth potential.
Responsibilities- Manage general ledger accounting and month-end close
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
- Perform daily cash management and bank reconciliations
- Complete CAM and real estate tax reconciliations
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and lender reporting
- Maintain lease and tenant information in Yardi
- Partner with property management, legal, construction, leasing, AP, and AR teams
Qualifications- 2 to 5 years of accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
- Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred- Commercial real estate accounting experience
- Yardi experience
- CAM reconciliation experience
- CPA or CPA candidate
- Knowledge of GAAP and tax accounting
