The Opportunity
Step into a key operations role where you bridge the gap between field execution and project documentation for commercial and federal builds. You will have the ownership to manage high-stakes projects, challenge standard processes, and drive continuous improvement across operations. How You Will Make an Impact
- Lead field operations and administrative workflows to keep ground-up commercial and government projects on schedule and budget.
- Maintain clear verbal and written communication across site teams, owners, and external stakeholders.
- Oversee critical paperwork, submittals, schedules, and change orders while actively supporting field operations.
- Drive proactive problem-solving on site, taking calculated risks and learning from outcomes to optimize execution.
- Partner with field superintendents and sub-contractors to align project execution with client specifications.
- Represent company interests during project meetings to showcase technical knowledge and strengthen client relationships.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 7 years of related project management experience in commercial, industrial, or federal construction.
- Deep understanding of both the field execution side and administrative paperwork requirements of the industry.
- Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills with a proven track record of effective teamwork.
- Demonstrated willingness to take on complex project challenges and drive continuous improvement.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% to project sites outside a 30-mile radius.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Prior experience managing ground-up builds valued between $3 million and $10 million.
- Familiarity with industry-standard project management software and digital tracking tools.
