We are partnering with a growing organization in the Triad area seeking a Senior Accountant for a contract assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in dynamic environments and can quickly adapt to new systems, processes, and priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Support general accounting functions, including month-end and year-end close activities
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting schedules
- Analyze financial data and assist with identifying process improvements
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of the general ledger
- Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
- Support audits and special accounting projects as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial information
- Leverage accounting systems and reporting tools to improve efficiency and reporting accuracy
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience working across multiple accounting functions with a broad accounting knowledge base
- Advanced proficiency with ERP systems and accounting software
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting
- Ability to work independently and quickly adapt to changing priorities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Pay Details: $35.00 to $45.00 per hour
