A confidential Houston-based employer is seeking a Senior Accountant for a temporary-to-hire opportunity. This position is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys owning the day-to-day financial operations for multiple business entities and working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage accounting activities for multiple business units/entities
  • Lead monthly close activities, including journal entries and account analysis
  • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
  • Monitor cash activity and support forecasting efforts
  • Research and resolve accounting variances and discrepancies
  • Partner with operational teams to ensure timely and accurate financial information
  • Support ongoing process improvements and ERP-driven workflows
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Full-cycle accounting background
  • Multi-entity accounting experience strongly preferred
  • Experience working within an ERP environment
  • Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
  • Sage experience highly preferred

Pay Details: $43.27 to $52.88 per hour
