About the Role

LHH is seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer inLisle, IL to lead the development of innovative products. In this role, you will manage product design lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and highest quality standards. This is a direct hire opportunity, on site.
Salary: $105,000 - $125,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead product development projects from initial CAD design through production launch.
  • Create and validate designs using CAD, CAE analysis, testing, and engineering best practices.
  • Meet performance, quality, cost, and timing requirements.
  • Support design reviews, problem-solving initiatives, and continuous product improvements.
  • Serve as a technical resource for less experienced engineers.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Product design and development experience.
  • Advanced proficiency with 3D CAD software
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience designing plastic, sheet metal, and cast metal components.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organization, and project management skills.
