About the Role

LHH is recruiting for a Staff Accountant position for a service company in the Lewisville, TX area. This is a great opportunity for someone with 2+ years of experience to join a growing organization with a strong culture and excellent benefits.
*The salary range for this position is 80K-85K base + bonus and is hybrid (2 days in office, 3 days work from home)*
Responsibilities include:
  • Manage fixed assets ledger to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Administer capitalization, depreciation, retirements, and transfers of fixed assets.
  • Perform reconciliations of fixed asset accounts
  • Adhere to GAAP and applicable regulations in fixed asset reporting.
  • Support operations to track construction-in-progress and facilitate timely capitalization.
  • Provide necessary reports and schedules to support internal and external audits.
  • Proactively identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to address them.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • 2+ years of experience, preferably with fixed assets
  • Understanding of GAAP
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
