About the Role

Job Description
As a Sr Communications Specialist here at Honeywell, you will work out of our Charlotte, NC location on a hybrid work schedule. We are seeking a talented and motivated Communications Specialist to join our Brand and Communications team supporting internal and external communications for the Process Technology business. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and implementing communication strategies that enhance our brand presence and engage our target audiences in the energy sector. This position requires excellent writing skills, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments.

  1. Content Creation:
    • Develop and produce high-quality content for various channels, including internal memos, press releases, social media posts and byline articles.
    • Ensure consistency in messaging and brand voice across all communications.
  2. Internal and External Communications channels:
    • Support internal communication initiatives by creating informative and engaging content for employees.
    • Collaborate with HR and other departments to promote organizational changes and achievements.
    • Assist in media relations activities as requested.
    • Coordinate media inquiries and prepare materials for media outreach.
  3. Social Media Management:
    • Manage and grow Process Technology social media presence by developing engaging content and monitoring online interactions.
    • Analyze social media metrics to optimize performance and engagement.
  4. Event Support:
    • Assist in the execution of Process Technology events, including product launches, trade shows, and community engagement activities.
    • Develop promotional materials and ensure effective communication before, during, and after events.
  5. Research and Analysis:
    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in communications and public relations.

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and brand development.
  • Experience with graphic design and multimedia content creation is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
