Job Overview

Collier Electrical Corp is seeking skilled and dependable Journeyman Electricians (E-1 or E-2 license) to join our Field Operations team. In this hands-on role, you will perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of commercial and industrial job sites throughout Connecticut. Ideal candidates will bring a solid work ethic, team-oriented mindset, and the drive to deliver high-quality work safely and efficiently. Travel to job sites is required, using company-provided vans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting on commercial and industrial projects
  • Work with blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute installations accurately
  • Collaborate with fellow journeymen and apprentices on job sites to ensure work is completed on time and up to code
  • Maintain safety standards at all times, using proper PPE and following OSHA/compliance guidelines
  • Use personal hand tools and company-provided equipment as needed to perform work
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and project teams
  • Complete daily logs and provide updates on project status as required

Qualifications

  • Valid State of Connecticut E-1 or E-2 Electrical License (required)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work preferred
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Able to pass a background check in compliance with applicable laws
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Own basic electrical tools
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious

Schedule

  • Full-Time
  • Monday–Friday with potential for overtime and weekend work
