SimsCo LLC is a family-operated commercial concrete and masonry company serving the greater Springfield, Missouri area.
We're looking to hire experienced Commercial Concrete Finishers who know their trade, take pride in their work, and want to be part of a dependable crew.
We're not looking for general laborers who are just getting started. We need people with real, hands-on concrete finishing experience who can contribute from day one.
If you know how to finish concrete, communicate well, show up ready to work, and want consistent work with a local company, we'd like to talk with you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Pour, place, screed, and finish concrete on commercial construction projects.
- Perform finishing work to meet project specifications and quality standards.
- Assist with concrete formwork, layout, and preparation.
- Apply appropriate finishing techniques and surface treatments.
- Work safely with concrete tools and equipment.
- Collaborate with crew members to keep projects moving efficiently.
- Maintain jobsite safety, cleanliness, and quality workmanship.
What We're Looking For
Required:
- At least 2 years of hands-on concrete finishing experience.
- Experience working on commercial concrete projects.
- Ability to perform concrete finishing tasks with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable attendance and professional communication.
- Ability to travel to jobsites throughout the greater Springfield area.
Preferred:
- OSHA 10 certification.
- Experience with commercial slabs, foundations, and formwork.
- Ability to read construction drawings, grades, and elevations.
- Experience with power trowels and other concrete finishing equipment.
