About the Role

Customer Service Representative - Insurance Benefits

Location: Remote (Local to Montreal, QC) Duration: 03 Months

Job Description
  • Must be fluent in French and English both written and verbal
  • Work will be done locally virtual from home
  • Must be available for a shift between 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily - Monday through Friday
Responsibilities
  • Will respond promptly and professionally to incoming telephone calls, chats and tickets based on client parameters providing top notch expertise
  • Will develop a knowledge of products, services etc. and effectively convey this information to customers
  • Engage in active listening with the customer, confirming or clarifying information and defuse situations as needed
  • Document details of customer's inquiries and/or complaints and the actions taken to resolve their issues in a comprehensible way
  • Superb customer service skills and professionalism with a strong ability to diffuse customer concerns
  • Maintain established performance levels in KPI environment
  • Understand and resolve compliance issues in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Be an active team member and support overall teamwork and morale
  • Ability to identify and respond efficiently and accurately to customers and providing solutions and/or alternatives
Required Experience and Skills
  • Fluent in French and English both verbal and written
  • Previous customer service or call center work experience in insurance program support
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Strong communication, empathy and listening skills
  • Ability to multi-task and run time effectively
  • Writes clearly and concisely
  • Committed to providing superior customer service
  • Ability to work independently
  • Tasks require judgment and critical thinking skills
  • Minimum 3 years of industry experience
Required Education
  • Degree preferred
