Description WIVA is seeking 2 qualified and innovative educators to serve as an elementary teacher for our virtual school.This full-time, remote position requires a valid Wisconsin Teaching License with certification to teach Kindergarten -5th grade or 1st-5th.The ideal candidate is a collaborative team member with strong knowledge of literacy practices and creativity to engage young learners virtually.They are organized, self-directed, and comfortable working in a virtual environment while partnering with other educators and adults.
Required Qualifications: Understanding/training of the Science of Reading and Wisconsin Act 20 Familiarity with digital tools and platforms Strong communication skills, as parental involvement is the key to success in a virtual environment.This is a remote/work-from-home position with flexibility and the opportunity to make a broad impact across the virtual learning environment.We welcome applicants who are passionate about literacy and virtual education.Work Hours: Available to students, parents, and staff from 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday or agreed-upon hours.Work from home (Minimal travel for required events).
