The Opportunity
You will play a vital role in executing high-quality carpentry repairs, renovations, and turn-key punch work across multi-family housing communities. This role allows you to showcase your finish carpentry expertise while transforming apartment units for occupancy. You will enjoy working independently in the field with full home office support and clear pathways for career growth.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Perform detailed finish carpentry repairs and installations involving cabinets, doors, windows, trim, molding, and frames.
- Construct, modify, and repair wall framing, subfloors, and wood structures to meet quality standards.
- Execute turn-key punch work and finishing tasks to prepare multi-family apartment units for occupancy.
- Measure, cut, and fit building materials accurately to ensure seamless structural repairs.
- Assist with additional property maintenance tasks, including tile repairs, minor painting, and roofing repairs.
- Inspect completed work for structural accuracy and report progress and material needs to division leadership.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in carpentry, property maintenance, or multi-family renovation.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Demonstrated expertise in finish carpentry, including trim, doors, cabinets, framing, and subfloor repairs.
- Possession and maintenance of personal hand tools required for daily carpentry work.
- Physical ability to perform labor, including carrying materials up to 70 pounds and working from ladders or scaffolding up to three stories.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Hands-on experience performing turn-key punch work in multi-family housing communities.
- Familiarity with local building codes, structural standards, and quality control procedures.
- Cross-trade experience in tile repair, concrete work, drywall, or roofing repairs.
