The Opportunity
You will serve as our primary field electrical authority, taking complete command of on-site installations across premier residential and commercial builds.
This role provides a direct pathway into senior leadership positions, including Project Manager or Vice President of Field Operations.
You will collaborate directly with executive leadership at a high-growth firm where your achievements receive immediate recognition.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Direct all daily electrical field operations across residential and commercial job sites to guarantee first-class craft execution.
- Coordinate closely with office staff and project coordinators so administrative tasks remain streamlined off-site while you lead the field.
- Inspect ongoing and completed electrical systems to ensure full alignment with project blueprints, specifications, and regional codes.
- Mentor apprentice electricians and job-site trades to foster technical capability, field productivity, and strict site safety.
- Troubleshoot complex on-site wiring, service panels, and distribution challenges to eliminate project delays before they impact schedules.
- Champion project quality standards that protect and elevate our A+ Better Business Bureau company rating.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Active Electrical License registered with the City of Pittsburgh (or the ability to be licensed within 30 days).
- Demonstrated track record commanding field installations across commercial and residential structures.
- Comprehensive working command of National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and municipal building guidelines.
- Proven ability to interpret architectural drawings, engineering schematics, and technical wiring specifications accurately.
- Professional communication skills required to direct field crews and interface with company leadership.
- Clear professional aspiration to advance into high-level positions such as Project Manager or VP of Field Operations.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- 7 or more years of hands-on electrical trade and job-site leadership experience.
- Prior field supervisory experience within a general contracting or fast-paced trade subcontractor environment.
- Active manufacturer or safety credentials, including OSHA 10/30, Fall Protection, or Aerial Work Platform (AWP) certifications.
