How You Will Make an Impact
- Direct daily field maintenance operations and dispatch technician crews across multi-site commercial solar portfolios.
- Supervise preventative and corrective work orders through CMMS platforms to ensure maximum system uptime and contract compliance.
- Monitor asset performance continuously via remote SCADA and monitoring platforms to swiftly detect and resolve outages.
- Guide root-cause troubleshooting for central inverters, step-up transformers, combiner boxes, and balance-of-system electrical components.
- Enforce strict jobsite safety standards in full alignment with OSHA regulations and internal company protocols.
- Partner closely with engineering and client asset management teams to streamline reporting and execute corrective action plans.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial or utility-scale solar operations and maintenance.
- At least 2 years in a supervisory or coordination role leading field service technicians.
- Active OSHA 10 certification and a valid driver's license with a dependable driving history.
- Deep technical expertise in diagnosing commercial PV system equipment, including inverters, switchgear, and BOS components.
- Demonstrated proficiency utilizing CMMS platforms and remote monitoring portals to prioritize multi-site work orders.
- High School Diploma or GED combined with relevant industry training, or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Renewable Energy.
- Ability to travel up to 50% across the region and navigate elevated work environments, stairs, and ladders.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Active OSHA 30 certification.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Renewable Energy Technology.
- Advanced diagnostic experience with commercial three-phase electrical systems and central inverter architectures.
- Proven track record implementing predictive maintenance schedules that reduce plant downtime and operating costs.
