About the Role

Insight Global is seeking an Environmental & ROW Compliance Specialist for a leading telecom infrastructure client.This individual will play a key role in supporting fiber deployment projects by identifying constraints, navigating permitting pathways, and ensuring timely approvals.They will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, vendors, and municipalities to drive compliant, efficient project execution from planning through construction readiness.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or recruiting process, please send a request to HR@insightglobal.com.To learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy: Required Skills & Experience Must-Haves: • 3-5 years of ROW, environmental, or telecom permitting experience • Strong knowledge of ROW permitting processes and AHJs with direct experience working with DOT, Army Corps, railroads, and wetlands • Experience analyzing environmental constraints (wetlands, floodplains, habitats) • Proficiency with KMZ/KML tools (Google Earth, ArcGIS) • Understanding of fiber construction (HDD, aerial, restoration) • Strong communication + high attention to detail Nice to Have Skills & Experience Plusses: • Existing municipal or permitting authority relationships • Experience supporting RFPs or early-stage feasibility • Background in project tracking/PM tools • Vendor coordination for permit packages • Process improvement mindset Day-to-Day: • Evaluate environmental and ROW constraints along fiber routes • Identify permitting paths, requirements, and timelines • Support route feasibility and pre-construction planning • Prepare, review, and submit permit packages to AHJs • Coordinate between engineering, vendors, and municipalities • Track permit status across projects using PM tools • Build relationships with municipalities to streamline approvals • Resolve permitting/design issues and ensure compliance pre-construction Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
