The Vice President, AI Solutions - Human Resource Transformation Leader is an enterprise leader within Optum.ai accountable for driving AI-enabled human resource transformation at UnitedHealth Group and translating that work into commercial solutions for the healthcare market. This role owns the commercial Human Resource Transformation strategy, offering portfolio, delivery model, growth priorities and measurable outcomes across Plans/Payers, Providers and Life Sciences clients.
This leader will use UnitedHealth Group's Fortune 3 scale as the proving ground for an AI-led, human-governed People Team - resolving routine work autonomously, equipping leaders with real-time workforce insight and focusing human expertise on judgment, trust and enterprise trade-offs. The role will productize these capabilities into repeatable Optum.ai offerings for healthcare clients.
As a member of the SVP, Head of Optum.ai leadership team, this leader will share accountability for organization-wide strategy, operating performance, talent, investment prioritization, risk management, communications and culture. The role requires executive presence, commercial judgment, HR domain expertise, fluency in generative AI and agentic workflows, and the ability to orchestrate product, engineering, consulting, delivery, sales, finance, legal, security, privacy, compliance and operations teams.

For all hires within 30 minutes of an office in Minnesota or Washington, D.C., you'll be required to work a minimum of four days per week in-office.
