Nursing Learning Center Skills/Simulation RN - ICU (part-time, 17.5 hrs./week)

The Nursing Learning Center Skills/RN has the opportunity to develop the next generation of nursing professionals through hands on learning experiences such as simulation-based learning and targeted skills instruction in a supportive and dynamic educational environment.

What you’ll do in this position:

  • Teach intensive care unit-specific nursing skills.
  • Facilitate realistic ICU patient simulations for advanced practice.
  • Ensure all necessary supplies are available to meet learning objectives and facilitate effective instruction.
  • Adhere to structured lesson plans to ensure the delivery of consistent and thorough content.

What qualifies you for this role:

  • Required A firm commitment to the mission of BYU Baccalaureate in Nursing from Accredited Institution.
  • At least 3 year of RN experience.
  • Comfortable with basic computer skills Problem solving skills Ability to adapt in new situations Current AHA BLS Certification Current Utah RN License

Additional Comments: The employee should have a caring and positive attitude that will help students learn to love nursing and become competent nurses.

Pay Grade: 52 Typical Starting Pay: $32.00 to $41.75 an hour
