About the Role

Key Qualifications:
Possession of a valid Pennsylvania Instructional I or Instructional II certification in Special Education K-12, or eligibility to obtain by the end of July (emergency certifications are not accepted at this time)
Demonstrated experience or enthusiasm for working with middle school populations
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Skill in adapting lesson plans to fit individual student needs while fostering an encouraging learning environment
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver specially designed instruction in both classroom and small-group settings utilizing push-in and pull-out methods
Develop, modify, and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for a diverse caseload of middle school students
Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success and compliance with special education requirements
Regularly assess student progress and adjust interventions as needed
Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and ongoing training opportunities
Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule-Monday through Friday, from 8:15am to 4:15pm-operating 40 hours per week. This position offers competitive hourly compensation, ranging from $37.50 to $54.75, recognizing your experience and commitment.
