Your Tasks

In your role as Key Account Specialist, you are responsible for increasing the market presence of Kennametal in your region in the aerospace industry. You identify new business opportunities within this segment, win potential aerospace customers and develop them into long-term, strategic partners. With your experience in the machining of aerospace components and your proactive approach, you open up further potentials and successfully position our premium products with your customers. Your core tasks include:

  • Independent acquisition and development of new customers
  • Conducting sophisticated technical and commercial consultations in close cooperation with customer service, product management and application technology
  • Drafting technically challenging tasks for the machining of aerospace components in collaboration with engineering
  • Independently managing the entire sales process – from offer creation to participation in tenders to contract negotiations and closures
  • Representing the company at trade fairs, symposiums and customer presentations
  • Continuous market observation and bringing in innovative ideas for further development
Our Requirements

Completed vocational training in a metalworking profession with further education to master craftsman, or technical engineer in mechanical engineering or equivalent, would be desirable at least 3 years of professional experience and knowledge in metal cutting in the aerospace sector We expect first-hand sales experience in the B2B sector Routine use of MS-Office products, as well as a CRM system English skills Willingness to travel in the daily commute area and sometimes overnight
