About the Role
Freelance International Equity Copywriter
The International Equity Copywriter (Freelance) will create and maintain equity copy for international-exclusive products. This position partners closely with the International Creative Services team and the global merchandising team to deliver effective, concise, and brand-appropriate copy.
Responsibilities
Create and maintain compelling equity copy for international-exclusive products, ensuring brand consistency and effectiveness.
Partner with the International Creative Services team and global merchandising team to deliver accurate, concise, and brand-appropriate copy.
Write equity copy for international-exclusive products, incorporating product-specific data and marketing strategies.
Collaborate with global merchants to improve the accuracy and completeness of allocation reports before copywriting.
Review feedback and revise copy to ensure it is error-free, contextually accurate, and aligned with brand standards.
Stay current on standards set by the U.S. copy team and follow best practices for brands, sub-brands, categories, and collections.
Address missing or incorrect equity data flagged by cross-functional partners.
Escalate risks or concerns to the Senior Writer and internal partners as needed.
Support additional responsibilities and projects as assigned by management.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Marketing, or a related field.
1–2+ years of copywriting experience, preferably in an agency or in-house environment.
Experience writing consumer product copy; B2B experience is a plus.
Knowledge of global fashion and pop culture lexicons.
Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt tone and style for diverse markets.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in relevant computer tools and platforms used in copywriting.
