This company is expanding its presence in Atlanta and is looking to enhance its Bankruptcy & Financial Restructuring team to support a growing portfolio of creditor-side Chapter 11 cases, distressed M&A, and negotiations. With a strong focus on client-centric solutions, this firm is committed to delivering exceptional results in complex financial scenarios.
What You Will Do
Draft and support pleadings, motions, objections, and related filings in Chapter 11 matters.
Analyze creditor rights, liens, priority, adequate protection, and plan treatment.
Facilitate negotiations in workouts, forbearances, amendments, and restructuring term sheets.
Collaborate with finance teams on credit document interpretation and secured creditor strategy.
Assist with contested matters, discovery, and related restructuring litigation.
Provide client-ready updates, timelines, and strategy memos to stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate Background
JD and active bar membership required.
2–6+ years of bankruptcy/restructuring experience, with flexibility based on the strength of representations.
Strong writing skills with the ability to manage rapid deadlines effectively.
Proven experience in creditor-side representation and restructuring negotiations.
Preferred
Familiarity with distressed M&A processes and related litigation.
Experience working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate across finance and corporate teams.
Compensation and Benefits
