At Sunrun, we're on a mission to change the way the world interacts with energy, and we're building a company and brand that puts power at the center of life.To do it, we're designing a dynamic culture where employee development, well-being, and safety come first. It's why we've become the #1 home solar and battery company in America. We're unlike any other residential energy company.

We're on a mission to make energy more reliable and affordable for more people. We provide an opportunity with storage and solar to help people access greater energy independence without the big upfront costs. Sunrun is the largest dedicated residential solar and storage company in the country and has a mission to bring stably priced resilient power to the masses.

The Regional Safety Manager is a strategic leader role responsible for overseeing OSHA safety compliance and risk mitigation across a multi-state region. This individual will serve as the primary architect for the region's data-driven safety strategy, leveraging Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence to predict high-risk scenarios, optimize resource allocation, and drive our Goal Zero culture. The ideal candidate blends deep OSHA technical expertise with a modern, tech-forward approach to injury prevention. This role is working remotely with travel to branches and job sites.

Candidates must be located 3-4 hours from the Texas branches.

Key Responsibilities

  • OSHA Compliance & Recordkeeping Excellence
  • Predictive Safety & AI Integration
  • Data Analysis & Performance Metrics
  • Regional Leadership & Training

Requirements

  • Education/Certification: CSP (Certified Safety Professional) is highly desired. We are looking for individuals with a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or Data Science; however, significant time in position and demonstrated expertise in these fields may be considered in place of specific degree requirements
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience
  • Analytical Proficiency: Ability to interpret safety dashboards and data trends to make informed decisions on where to deploy resources, in partnership with safety colleagues across the footprint
  • High-Level Communication: Proven experience in "coaching up" and influencing management-level stakeholders to take ownership of safety results.
  • Technology and AI proficiency: Proficiency in technology and leveraging AI tools to efficiently synthesize, create, and interpret data.
  • Content Creation: Proficiency in creating scalable content (videos, webinars, digital bulletins) that reaches a broad audience effectively.
  • Leadership Presence: Must be comfortable transitioning from "boots on the ground" worker to a "consultative partner" who drives results through others.
