About the Role

Business Development Manager

We started as a small startup helping cafes and restaurants with the Storyous POS system. Today, we are part of the international fintech group Teya and together we help entrepreneurs with operations so they can focus on what matters most – their customers.

Thanks to the integration of Storyous POS and payment terminals, we offer a complete solution in one device – an overview of operations, connection to popular services, easy inventory management, and modern payment technologies.

We are looking for energetic people with an interest in the restaurant industry for the regions of Prague, Brno, Ostrava and their surroundings. We are looking for either people from the restaurant industry who want to move on to something new but still stay in touch with the field they understand, or people who have a positive relationship with it and have experience in B2B business.

You will work with local businesses in your region, building long-term relationships and developing cooperation. Knowledge of the local restaurant scene is a big advantage. The role offers freedom, flexibility, and the possibility to earn without a cap.

How we will support you:

What will be your main job duties:

  • Active acquisition of new clients in the restaurant segment

  • Building long-term relationships based on trust

  • Analyzing client needs and selecting the best tailored solution from our offer

  • Working with CRM and basic reporting

  • Cooperation with the product and internal team

  • Independent work in your region with full support from the team

Who we are looking for:

  • You have a business spirit, drive, and a desire to earn

  • You can communicate excellently, enjoy working with people and clients

  • You can take responsibility and are proactive

  • You have a relationship with the restaurant industry or experience from the operation (bar, restaurant, cafe, operation, etc.)

  • You can work independently, but you are not a solo player – teamwork is important to us

  • You are naturally skilled in working on a computer and have no problem learning new tools

We are no longer a pure startup, but not a corporation either. We have the facilities of a strong international fintech company, but we do a lot of things our own way and are open to new ideas.

The working pace is fast and dynamic, changes are happening, and it is necessary to be able to accept and adapt to them. Traders have a lot of freedom, they work independently, but at the same time have strong support and professional management that helps them improve and grow.

How will the selection process proceed:

  1. Getting to know each other online call with HR (30min)

  2. Personal or online meeting with the Sales team leadership
