About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, program, and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment to produce precision components
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) specifications
  • Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and cutting parameters for each job
  • Perform in-process quality inspections using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM)
  • Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish requirements
  • Perform routine machine maintenance, including lubrication, cleaning, and minor repairs
  • Identify and troubleshoot machining issues related to tooling, fixturing, programming, or material
  • Maintain accurate production records, inspection logs, and work order documentation
  • Follow all shop safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and adherence to OSHA standards
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to meet delivery schedules and quality goals
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing efforts

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency operating CNC mills and/or lathes (Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, or similar controls)
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T callouts
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and machining best practices
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment
  • Basic computer skills for reviewing work orders and documentation


Pay Details: $24.00 to $32.00 per year
